Instantiating DAY and NIGHT with Boolean and Fuzzy logic - An idea for a probable school project ?



Fuzzy logic is a form of many-valued logic in which the truth values of variables may be any real number between 0 and 1, considered to be “fuzzy.” 
By contrast, in Boolean logic, the truth values of variables may only be the “crisp” values 0 or 1.

 Generally speaking, in regions across our planet, which comprises of natural human habitat, we do see a certain time of the 24 hours of a day is dark, while the rest of the time it is naturally bright.
By stating naturally bright, I am implying to the influence and effect of sun on that concerned geographical area.
However there are regions on earth which has more than 24 hours of sunlight at a single stretch/span of time. It has been observed, that human population in such regions are comparatively much lesser.

 Here I am trying to project a state of complete/maximum darkness as "0" (Boolean Zero), and a state of complete/maximum brightness as "1" (Boolean One).
The remaining states in between complete darkness and complete brightness, can be projected as any real number value "X", so that 0<X<1, i.e. X should be greater than Boolean zero and lesser than Boolean one. In other words, this "X" can be referred as "Fuzzy X".

 The intensity of brightness due to light, technically known as ILLUMINANCE, can be measured using a Photometer. 
Accordingly, this illuminance can be modeled or programmed as per the logic mentioned above using Boolean and Fuzzy concepts, so as to attempt to establish a probable fact/principle that a clocked time at any place on earth (being dependent on the speed of earth's rotation and revolution around the sun), is actually and only a FUZZY state in between two BOOLEAN states of "0" and "1".

 As a matter of fact, I feel every evolution starting from the universe, galaxy, solar system, our earth and last but not the least, is life on earth.. is indeed a FUZZY state in between two BOOLEAN states of "0" and "1".

 UNIVERSE:
All existing matter and space considered as a whole; the cosmos. The universe is believed to be at least 10 billion light years in diameter and contains a vast number of galaxies; it has been expanding since its creation in the Big Bang about 13 billion years ago.

 GALAXY:
A system of millions or billions of stars, together with gas and dust, held together by gravitational attraction. The galaxy of which the solar system is a part - The Milky Way.

Flood due to raging rivers from excessive rainfall is a very common scenario across the globe, because engineering and technology is yet to invent anything till date, to control the weather's wrath. If we can construct huge underground car parking areas, then humans can also construct underground concrete water reservoirs, because that day is not far off, when humans has to accept and realize that preservation of rain-water and river-water, will be much more important than owning fleets of expensive cars.
